Terms and Conditions for Electronic Payments This “Terms and Conditions for Electronic Payments” is an authorization for electronic payments. The terms “we,” “us,” “our,” and “Improvemint Financial LLC” means Own.Lease Inc dba Improvemint Financial LLC, located at 1207 Delaware Ave, #190 Wilmington, DE 19806. The terms “you” and “your” mean the consumer agreeing to these terms.
a. Optional Payment Method. The Improvemint Financial LLC Remote Payments Online Service (the "Service") is an optional alternative way to make payments or view your payment history on your rental-purchase agreement, rent-to-own agreement, lease-purchase agreement or lease-to-own agreement with Improvemint Financial LLC ("your account"). Once you complete the process and authorize payment, Improvemint Financial LLC will establish the one-time payment and/or recurring payments you directed.
b. Your Terms. You agree to the effective date, payment dates, amounts, and account as provided and assented to in your onscreen disclosures.
c. Corrections. You permit us to debit and credit your account to correct errors.
d. Varying Amounts. If a payment will vary in amount from the previous authorized payment, or a preauthorized amount, we will send you written notice, by email, or in writing, of the amount and date of the payment at least ten (10) days before the scheduled date of the payment.
e. You Must Update Your Information. If your customer profile, bank account information, or card information changes, you agree to promptly update this information.
f. Inaccuracies. Improvemint Financial LLC will not be responsible or liable for relying on any inaccurate or incomplete customer profile, bank account information or card information that causes a payment to be rejected, returned, missed or paid late on your account.
g. Communication with Improvemint Financial LLC. If you have any questions, need assistance, or want updated payoff information, please contact Improvemint Financial LLC Customer Service Department at 1-833-607-0876.
h. How to Update Your Information. Improvemint Financial LLC Customer Service Department cannot change your online customer profile, bank account information or card information. If you need assistance with the online forms, method for making payment, or have any questions concerning the Service, please call the Customer Service Department at 1-833-607-0876.
i. Review our Confirmation Emails. IMPROVEMINT FINANCIAL LLC WILL SEND AN EMAIL CONFIRMATION OF ANY ONLINE PAYMENTS YOU MAKE THROUGH THE SERVICE. You will be notified of payments initiated under the Service by email at the email address you specify in your online customer profile. You agree to notify Improvemint Financial LLC Customer Service Department at 1-833-607-0876 immediately if an email confirmation is not received or is inaccurate. You also agree to check your bank account statements promptly after receipt to verify that any amounts have been paid or credited in the correct amount and on the correct date.
j. Never Send Sensitive Information by Email. IMPROVEMINT FINANCIAL LLC WILL NOT ASK YOU TO SEND ANY PERSONAL OR CONFIDENTIAL INFORMATION TO IMPROVEMINT FINANCIAL LLC USING EMAIL. DO NOT SEND ANY PERSONAL INFORMATION, BANK ACCOUNT INFORMATION, CARD INFORMATION OR ANY OTHER CONFIDENTIAL INFORMATION TO IMPROVEMINT FINANCIAL LLC BY EMAIL. If you receive an email that purports to come from Improvemint Financial LLC, and the email asks for your personal information, card information or bank account information, do not respond to the email or click on any links in the email. Instead, immediately report the email to Improvemint Financial LLC Customer Service Department at the above phone number.
k. One-Time Payment or Recurring Debits.
i. One-Time Payment. If you schedule a one-time payment, Improvemint Financial LLC will process the payment using your card information, unless you selected payment by ACH debit, in which case, Improvemint Financial LLC will initiate an ACH debit in the amount you authorize. You will then be responsible for initiating payments in the future.
ii. Recurring Debits. You have the option to set up recurring payments in a fixed amount on specified dates. If you schedule recurring debits, Improvemint Financial LLC will initiate recurring debits in the amount and on the days of the month instructed until you revoke the authorization as specified below. For recurring debits, Improvemint Financial LLC will use your card information, unless you selected payment by ACH debits, in which case, Improvemint Financial LLC will initiate ACH debits in the amount you authorize. By activating this payment feature, you authorize Improvemint Financial LLC to initiate debits, and if necessary, ACH credits or correction entries, to your bank account at the financial institution you have identified, on the date(s) and amounts specified. We use the bank account and routing number you insert, therefore you must insert the correct bank account and routing number.
l. Business Hours and Your Debits. If you initiate a payment after 7:30 PM Central time on a business day, or you initiate payment on a Saturday, Sunday, or a Banking Holiday, your payment will be processed the following business day.
m. Suspension and Discontinuation. Improvemint Financial LLC may suspend or discontinue the Service and the acceptance of electronic payments at any time for any reason without prior notice. For example, returned payments under certain circumstances may cause the recurring payment feature to be suspended. To maintain or restore security or performance of the Service, Improvemint Financial LLC reserves the right, under certain circumstances, to deny your access to your account or to the Service or any part thereof, or to deny the processing of payments. We may do so if we reasonably believe your password or other security access information has been or may be obtained or is being used or may be used by an unauthorized person(s). Improvemint Financial LLC will attempt to provide you with prior notice of suspension or termination of the Service, but will not be liable for any failure to do so. If the Service is suspended or discontinued, you agree to make timely payment on your account by other means or return the rented merchandise. The Service also may be suspended temporarily for maintenance purposes.
a. Revocation and Termination for Automatic Payments. Your authorization for recurring payments will remain in full force and effect until the earlier of (a) the final date of payment to Improvemint Financial LLC under your account or (b) no earlier than three (3) business days after you revoke and terminate your authorization for subsequent debits or (c) your return of the rented merchandise and termination of the agreement. You may revoke or terminate payments only by editing your online customer profile at https://track.improvemintfinancial.com. You may not revoke or terminate your authorization in any other manner. Improvemint Financial LLC Customer Service Department does not have the ability or authority to revoke or terminate your online authorization, but if you need assistance in revoking or terminating your authorization you may call the Customer Service Department 1-833-607-0876.
b. Your Agreement Survives a Payment Revocation or Termination. If you revoke or terminate your payment authorization, you acknowledge that your agreement with us will continue to apply unless you return the merchandise and terminate the agreement. Any remaining payments should be paid by other payment methods in the amounts and on the dates provided by your agreement by the scheduled dates as disclosed in your account agreement. If your transaction is a rent-to-own transaction, you may call the Customer Service Department 1-833- 607-0876 if you prefer to arrange a return of the item, rather than making new payment arrangements.
a. Fee for Returned Payments. If your bank returns a payment as unpaid, Improvemint Financial LLC may reinitiate the payment up to two additional times. If after these resubmissions the payment is not received by Improvemint Financial LLC, you agree to pay a fee for the returned payment in an amount disclosed below for your state and transaction.
b. Electronic Collection of Returned Item Fees. If your payment is returned unpaid, you authorize Improvemint Financial LLC to make a one-time electronic fund transfer from your account to collect a

c. Electronic Collection of Late Fees. If you make a late payment, you acknowledge that you will incur late fees in accordance with your agreement with us. If your payment is late, you authorize Improvemint Financial LLC to make a one-time electronic fund transfer from your account to collect a late fee. The fee will be determined as follows:

d. Debits for Itemized Fees. For rent-to-own, to the extent permitted by law, you permit us to debit an amount, up to the amounts disclosed below, if you incur any of the following itemized fees, after they are incurred:
e. Bank Charges You Incur. In addition to the above fees, you may be charged a separate fee by your bank if your payment is returned to us unpaid. You are responsible for payment of all bank fees incurred by your bank with respect to your bank account. You agree to maintain balances in your bank account sufficient to pay the payments on each date provided, and agree that Improvemint Financial LLC is not liable for any overdraft, over-the-limit fees or insufficient funds or charges imposed by your bank which result from your attempt to make a payment using the Service or are caused by your failure to maintain funds in your bank account sufficient to pay any requested payments initiated through the Service.
f. No Expediting Fee. Improvemint Financial LLC will not charge an expediting fee for payments you have initiated or a payment you authorized a Improvemint Financial LLC agent to initiate on your behalf using this Service.
a. Displaying Your Payment Information On-Screen and Adjustments. When you initiate a payment using the Service, you are authorizing Improvemint Financial LLC to display your Payment Amount, Monthly Payment amount, Account Balance and Current Payoff amount. These amounts are effective at midnight on the date indicated and do not include any future activity on your account. If Improvemint Financial LLC has not uploaded the proper amounts when you access the Service, Improvemint Financial LLC will notify you and make an adjustment accordingly. If you pay an amount disclosed, but additional amounts are in fact outstanding and unpaid under the terms of our agreement with you , you acknowledge the requirements under the agreement will continue to apply.
b. Protection of your Personal Information, Card Information, and Bank Account Information. You must type specified personal information, bank account information and card information, as applicable, into online forms as prompted by the screens. You agree to maintain the confidentiality and security of all information required, including your email address, Login ID, password, challenge question and answer, your account number, bank account information, card information, PIN, and all other security and access information provided in the forms to prevent unauthorized access to your account or use of the Service. We recommend that you memorize your Login ID and password and do not write it down. You agree not to give or make such information available to any individual you have not authorized to access your account.
c. Warning About Confidentiality and Security. Use of the Service is at your sole risk. Although Improvemint Financial LLC has endeavored to create a secure and reliable website for making online payments, the confidentiality or security of any communication transmitted or accessible over the Internet cannot be guaranteed. Improvemint Financial LLC encrypts your personal information on our systems and in transmission and complies with all applicable laws in handling such information. Accordingly, Improvemint Financial LLC and its affiliates are not responsible for the security of any information transmitted or accessed using the Internet. Actual or attempted unauthorized use of this Service may result in criminal and/or civil prosecution. Improvemint Financial LLC use of your personal information will be in accordance with Improvemint Financial LLC privacy statement which may be viewed at own.lease privacy policy.
d. Your Authority and Responsibilities. You promise that you have all necessary rights, power and authority to authorize any payment you initiate. You are representing to us that you intend to have sufficient funds available so that any payment is not returned unpaid. Furthermore, you agree to be entirely responsible for any and all activities and payment transactions relating to your account, credit/debit card, and your bank account when you or anyone else you authorize uses the Service. You agree to notify Improvemint Financial LLC immediately upon your discovery of any unauthorized use of your account, bank account or card information, or of any breach of security relating to your account, bank account, or card information. You agree to notify Improvemint Financial LLC immediately if you believe the confidentiality of your password or any other security or personal information relating to your account, bank account or card information has been compromised in any way. This includes, for example, any time your password has been lost or stolen, someone has attempted to use the Service under your account number or card information without your consent, your account has been accessed by an unauthorized person, or someone you have not authorized has transferred money from your account or bank account without your permission.
e. Unauthorized Amounts. If funds have been withdrawn or charges are assessed in a manner that you did not authorize, you agree to promptly inform your bank of the unauthorized amount. Improvemint Financial LLC is not responsible for notifying your bank. Your bank may provide fraud protection if you promptly notify your bank of the unauthorized payment or charge. Improvemint Financial LLC will not be responsible for any loss you may incur as a result of someone else misusing your personal information, bank account information or card information either with or without your permission. You could be held liable for losses incurred by Improvemint Financial LLC or another party if someone other than you uses your password. You may not use anyone else’s account at any time without the permission of the rightful account owner or holder.
f. Your Responsibility to Update Your Information 3 or More Days Before the Next Payment. You agree to update your profile 3 or more days before the next payment. This includes your personal information, bank account information and card information, to keep the information accurate. Your failure to update this information in a timely manner could result in late or missed payments. Improvemint Financial LLC is not responsible for any payment processing failures, rejections, delays, errors, fees or charges incurred by you if you fail to provide accurate information in the online forms or you fail to timely update your online forms. You may change your information, as applicable, at any time when the Service is available, but only by accessing the Service customer profile online. Improvemint Financial LLC Customer Service Department is not authorized to make these changes for you, but if you need assistance in editing your customer profile you may call the Customer Service Department at 1-833-607-0876.
g. Software/Browser Requirements. To use the Service, you must have the proper computer equipment and online capability to access the Service. You should access the Service using Internet Explorer 5.x or higher, running on Windows 98 or newer (Windows XP preferred). Your browser must be configured to support, and you agree to use the Service with a configured browser that has, the following features: 128-bit encryption Secure Sockets Layer (SSL), Java & JavaScript enabled, Cookies enabled, Cascading Style Sheets enabled, and Automatically Load Images enabled. You agree that if you are able to access the Service using a browser that does not meet these minimum standards and features, then you understand that lower encryption standards may jeopardize the confidentiality and security of your payment instructions and information, and in such instance Improvemint Financial LLC disclaims any and all responsibility for losses resulting from your use of the Service. Improvemint Financial LLC may change these requirements from time to time. You acknowledge that you are responsible for all on-line service charges imposed by your Internet service provider.
h. Failure of Your Computer or Your Information Providers. Without limiting any other provision hereof, you will bear the sole liability and risk of any error or loss of data, information, transactions or other losses which may result from the failure of your computer or third party communications providers on which you may rely. Improvemint Financial LLC shall have no liability to you for any damage or other loss, direct or consequential, which you may incur by reason of your access to the Service using your computer or someone else’s computer. It is your responsibility to ensure that your computer or anyone else’s computer you use to access the Service has appropriate and updated firewalls and anti-virus programs installed.
a. Intellectual Property. Your use of the Service does not give you any legal right or interest in the Service or in any of Improvemint Financial LLC intellectual property used in connection with the Service or derived there from or any text or other content posted in connection therewith, including without limitation any trademarks, patents, or copyrights, for which all rights are reserved by Improvemint Financial LLC.
b. No Waiver. Improvemint Financial LLC shall not be deemed to have waived any of its rights or remedies hereunder or as set forth in your account agreements unless such waiver is in writing and signed by Improvemint Financial LLC. No delay or omission on the part of Improvemint Financial LLC in exercising any rights or remedies shall operate as a waiver of such rights or remedies or any other rights or remedies. A waiver on any one occasion shall not be construed as a bar or wavier of any rights or remedies on future occasions.
c. Damages. Neither Improvemint Financial LLC nor any of its affiliates, officers, directors, employees or agents, nor any other party involved in creating, producing, or delivering the Service, is liable for any direct, incidental, consequential, indirect, punitive, or other damages of any kind arising out of your access to or use of the Service, or your inability to access or use the Service, whether caused by Improvemint Financial LLC or such other parties, online service providers, any agent or subcontractor of any of the foregoing or any other party.
d. NO WARRANTY. WHILE IMPROVEMINT FINANCIAL LLC WILL ENDEAVOR TO PROVIDE ACCURATE INFORMATION IN CONNECTION WITH THE SERVICE, EXCEPT AS OTHERWISE EXPRESSLY PROVIDED HEREIN, IMPROVEMINT FINANCIAL LLC MAKES NO WARRANTY THAT (i) THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, TIMELY, SECURE, OR ERROR-FREE, OR (ii) ANY INFORMATION CONTAINED ON, RESULTS THAT MAY BE OBTAINED FROM THE USE OF, OR OTHER ASPECT OF THE SERVICE WILL BE ACCURATE, CURRENT, COMPLETE OR RELIABLE.
e. Amendments to Terms and Conditions. Improvemint Financial LLC reserves the right to change the Terms and Conditions of the Service at any time by posting any revisions on this website. You are responsible for regularly reviewing the Terms and Conditions and any updates. Your continued use of the Service constitutes your agreement to all such Terms and Conditions and any posted amendments. You agree that Improvemint Financial LLC shall not be liable to you or to any third party for any modification, suspension or discontinuance of this Service. There are no oral agreements relating to your use of this Service. No person associated with Improvemint Financial LLC is authorized to modify or waive these Terms and Conditions orally.
f. Governing Law and Severability. The Service and any dispute resulting from your use of the Service, shall be governed by and resolved in accordance with the laws of the State of Texas without reference to its principles on conflicts of laws. Notwithstanding anything to the contrary in these Terms and Conditions, it is the mutual intent of you and Improvemint Financial LLC to comply with all applicable laws. In each and every instance, Improvemint Financial LLC rights are limited by applicable law (to the extent they may not be lawfully waived) and construed so as to comply with applicable law, and Improvemint Financial LLC rights may not be exercised except to the extent permitted by applicable law. If any provision of these Terms and Conditions is void or unenforceable under any applicable law with respect to a jurisdiction, such ineffectiveness or unenforceability shall not affect the validity or enforceability of such provision in another jurisdiction or any other provision in that or any other jurisdiction.
g. Compliance. You agree that all payments you initiate using the Service will be subject to and will comply with all applicable laws.
h. Binding. These Terms and Conditions are binding upon you and your heirs, executors, and personal representatives, and insure to the benefit of Improvemint Financial LLC and its successors and assigns. By using the Service and Improvemint Financial LLC website for any payment, transaction or service, you agree that you have read and understood the foregoing Terms and Conditions and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions and any future amendments.
